He m. Jessie, b. c. 1892, North Dakota, with both parents b. in English Canada. They had 3 or more children, including:

1. Neil Prentice, b. c. 1918, English Canada. At home in Oakland, Alameda Co., CA, in 1930. It is unclear whether he is the Neil Prentice shown in the SSDI as b. 26 May 1917, obtained his SS# in CA, and d. Aug 1987 in Alexandria, Fairfax Co. VA.

3. Sheila Prentice, b. c. 1926-27, CA. At home in Oakland, Alameda Co., CA, in 1930.

2. Bruce Prentice, b. c. 1922, English Canada. At home in Oakland, Alameda Co., CA, in 1930. Subject to further investigation for confirmation, he may be the Bruce Prentice who married and later lived in Danville, Contra Costa Co., CA. We tentatively assume the are one and the same person.

He m. Jeanette Portal, b. c. 1925, CA, dau. of Emile A. Portal, b. c. 1896, CA, and his wife, Mary, b. c. 1899, CA, all living in San Mateo.in the 1930 census where he was a Radio Retail Merchant. Kevin Wirth's email of 23 Mar 2010 eescribes him as an inventor, radio, wireless operator living in San Mateo, CA.

Bruce and Jeanette had the following children, all b. between 1948 and 1958, per Kevin Wirth, email, 23 Mar 2010. We tentatively assume they were born in the sequence contained in Kevin Wirth's email, but the high scool years are subject to revision if they were not born in that sequence:

1. Bruce "Rusty" A. Prentice. Attended High School in Danville, Contra Costa Co., CA, perhaps between 1963-1966.
2. Stuart or Stewart Prentice. Attended High School in Danville, Contra Costa Co., CA, perhaps between 1966-1969.
3. John Scott Prentice. Attended High School in Danville, Contra Costa Co., CA, perhaps between 1969-1972
4. James Prentice. Attended High School in Danville, Contra Costa Co., CA, perhaps between 1972 - 1975.
