1. George Prentice was b. c. 1889 in Canada, with his parents b. in Scotland. He is tenative identified as the George Prentice who appears in the 1911 census living at 907 Yonge St., Toronto North, Ontario, as b. Sep 1888, age 22, with his wife, Annice P. Jay, b. Mar 1889. No children are shown.
George had moved to Ohio in the United States by 1914 where his son, George was b. in 1914. He does not appear in the 1920 census, but does appear in the 1930 census iin South Euclid, Cuyahoga Co., OH, with his wife and family.
He m. Anne May, b. c. 1890, Canada, with both parents b. in England. Children per 1930 census:
- Hazel Prentice, b. c. 1912, Canada. 1930 at home.

2. George Prentice, b. c. 1914, Ohio. 1930 at home. He is tenatively identified as the George W. Prentice, Col. who is discussed in our Fall 2010 article entitled George W. Prentice, Col, McChord AFB, Washington .
3. Robert Prentice, b. c. 1916, Ohio. 1930 at home, It is unclear whether he is the Robert Prentice shown in the SSDI as b. 20 Jul 1915, obtained his SS# in OH, and d. 22 Apr 2000 in Saratoga, Santa Clara Co., CA.
4. Gordon Prentice, b. c. 1920, OH. 1930 at home. He may be the Gordon B. Prentice shown in the SSDI as b.30 Jun 1919, obtained his SS# in OH, and d. 1 Apr 2001 in Paradise, Butte Co., CA.
