   William K. Prentice, 72, a native of Wilmore and the son of the late Sam T. and Mattie Overstreet Prentice, died Sunday, July 9. He was a brick mason by trade and a member of Bethel Methodist Church.

   He is survived by a daughter, Willena Thorton, of Jacksonville, Fla.; his grandchildren; a brother, Robert Prentice and his wife, Virginia, of Louisville; a sister, Mary E. Prentice Theragood and her children, Marion Jackson, and Cornell of Gary, Ind.; an aunt and her husband, Sarah and the Rev. H.E. Baker; and several generations of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

   He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Samuel D. Prentice.

   Services were held at 1 p.m. on Friday at Bethel Methodist Church in Nicholasville. Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at O.L. Hughes & Sons Mortuary, and at noon on Friday at the church. Burial took place at Prentice-Dawson Family Cemetery.

PRENTICE Edward Dodd, 71, enter into eternal rest, Sat morning, Nov 5, 2016 at Baptist Health Hospital in Lex. KY. Edward was the son of the late Augustus W. and Georgia E. Prentice.

He also preceded in death, Martha and Charles Canada, Carolyn Walker, George A. Prentice, step-son William C. Henderson and a niece Evonne Commodore.

Edward joined First Baptist Church Nicholasville at an early age. He was a graduate of Roswald Dunbar, Nichol-asville, KY. He was gainfully employed for over 37 years before he retired and was a Realtor for Roark Realtor. He was a long time Board Member for Community Action. He made a lot of accomplished and got a lot done during his walk of life.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife Peggy Prentice, Daughter, Ericka Prentice, special step-daughter and son-in-law Lytonya Williams and Craig Williams. Surviving sister, Shirley Smith, Columbus, OH. Six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, eight sisters-in-law, five brothers-in-law, and a host of nieces and nephews and cousins and friends.

Service 12pm Sat Nov 12, 2016 First Baptist Church, Nicholasville. Visit 10:30am until time of service.
