1. Chester Prentice may have been b. c. 1875-1888 and at an unknown location. In 1924 he was likely living in Northfield, Washington Co., VT when his daughter, Ruth married.
He m. Hallie Lemery. They had 1 or more children, including:

2. Ruth L. Prentice, b. c. 1908, Granville. She is likely the Ruth Dole shown in the SSDI as b. 23 Feb 1908, obtained her SS# in VT, and d. Aug 1986 in Concord, Merrimack Co., NH.
She m. Arthur Le Ruy Dole of Northfield, VT, on 23 Sep 1924 in Northfield, Washington Co., VT. He was a Stone Cutter, b. c. 1902, Northfield, son of George W. Dole (b. Northfield, VT) and Ruth(?) Campbell (b. Stone(?), VT). They appear in the 1930 census in Granville, Addison Co., VT. He was b. c. 1902, VT. No children shown. He does not appear in the SSDI.
Although only a guess for now, his parents might be Golden and Rebecca Prentice who were living in Granville, Addison Co., VT, in the 1880 census. They were only 50 and 41 respectively and had 5 children at home, the youngest 5 years old. Golden Prentice is #21.1 in our Fall 1999 article entitled Prentices of the Colnes, England .
