William's obituary also mentions a grandson, Sam/Samuel Prentice of Pulaski.

Who are Will W. Prentice's Parents?

It is unclear whether he is the William Wesley Prentice who m., 2nd Martha Jane Seagraves on 8 May 1884. (See #46 in our Summer 2006 article entitled Prentices of Halton, Buckingham, England ) She was b. 4 Nov 1844, TN, and d. 19 Sep 1916, Giles Co., and is bur in Roper Cemetery, Giles Co., TN.

The only way he could be the same William Wesley Prentice would be if William and Martha were divorced prior to 1913 (the year of Willie/Wiliam's 1913 birth), or if he married bigamously.
