Donald Walter Prentice of Datchet, England
By Linus Joseph Dewald Jr., Editor
Winter 2007 and Revised 3 Nov 2007

We are helping Ivy Trott in tracing the family of Donald Walter Prentice. Here is what we have so far:

1. Donald Walter Prentice was b. c. 1902, perhaps in, or near, Datchet, England, near Windsor, whe he later lived. An electrical engineer or electrician, he likely had siblings, but for now we have no information about them.

He m. Mabel Violet Wagstaff who he met and married in Fulham , near central London, where they were both living. For a time they had a house and land in Marlow Bottom, Buckingamshire. Also, for a time his parents lived with them.

Who are Donald Walter Prentice's Parents?

Given Donald's Fulham residence at the time of his marriage, there seems a good chance, although not confirmed, that he might be a son of Charles and Matilda Prentice who are discussed in our Summer 2005 article entitled Charles Prentice of Needham . More investigation for confirmation is needed.
