We received the following email information from Judith Prentice's email of 4 Sep 2006, to which we have added information found in Ancestry.com :
1. William Prentice was b. c. 1835-1845 at an unknown location.
He m. Ann Maria Burnham, b. c. 1826, London, England. She was the dau. of Thomas Burnham and Susan Arthur. There is no record of marriage in Queensland so they apparently were m. elsewhere. Known children of the marriage
- Isabella Prentice, b. c. 1856, Richmond, Victoria, Australia.
- Christopher Allen Prentice, b. c. 1859, Richmond, Victoria, and d. 12 Oct 1890, age 25 (Ref: 1890/000029). Bur. 14 Oct 1890 at Muttaburra Cemetery, Aramac Shire, Queensland, Australia
- Walter Prentice, b. c. 1861, Richmond, Victoria, ad d. 1889, Melbourne, Victoria. He was a Dealer and d. in a fall from a horse.
- Frank Prentice, b. and d. 1863, Richmond, Victoria.
It is unclear whether this is the William Prentice who died 23 May 1921, Queensland, Australia, son of John Prentice and Mary Carey but about whom we have no further information.
