Update of 16 Mar 2008: Although the middle name is different, Margaret is almost certainly the same person as Margaret Prentice who is No.15.1(xiii)(a) in our Summer 2000 article about Thomas Prentice of Lesmahagow, Scotland .
We found the following information posted by Linda Zollinger at Ancestry.com :
1. Margaret Christina M. Prentice may have been b. c. 1903-1910 at an unknown location. Since her husband's father was b. in Rhodesia, we think her birth place might be Rhodesia.
She m. John Smith Moffitt who was b. 1905. He was the son of Malcolm Moffitt (b. 1870 in Southern Rhodesia) and Maria Martha Jackson (b. 1868). Ancestor Charts for them can be found at Ancestry.com . Daughter of Margaret and John:
- (dau.) Moffitt. She m. Geoffroy Bollan
- Marie Moffitt, b. 1932.
- (dau.) Moffitt
