1. John Prentiss was b. 15 Aug 1950, Camden, NJ, and d. 21 Feb 2005 at Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Washington Township at the age of 54.
His obituary relates that John was b. in Camden, NJ and then lived Vineland before moving to Washington Township, NJ, about 1980, 25 years ago. Mr. Prentiss was the owner and operator of Prentiss Insurance and Retirement Planning and Advanced Training Systems, LLC, both in Berlin. He was an avid reader, enjoyed golfing, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
John's funeral was handled by the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main St., Williamstown, where the Pastor Garry "Buz" Offenbacker conducted services. Burial at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hurffville, NJ.
He m. Beverly Mole c. 1973. Children (per obituary):
- Jenifer Prentiss. She m. Frank Castagna and live in Sewell, NJ.
- Megan Prentiss. She m. Christian Hevelow and live in Newark, DE.
John's obituary named the following grandchildren, but did not indicate their surnames: Nicholas, Andrew, Jonathan, Zachary and Riley.
