He m. Mary Farnsworth on 22 Jan 1900 in Eskbank or Lithgow, New South Wales, Australia. She was b. 24 Jan 1874 in Brewongle, NSW, Australia. She was the dau. of Edwin Farnsworth and Jane Skinner. An Ancestor Chart for Mary can be found at Ancestry.com . They had 3 or more children:
- John Prentice, b. 1901, Orange, NSW, Australia.
- (probably) Frederick F. Prentice, b. 1874, Bathurst, NSW, Australia.
- (son/dau.) Prentice.
