He m. Robin Jordan c. 1979. She was b. 11 Jul 1956 in Santa Barbara, CA, and d. 24 Mar 2008, "Ventura, CA. Her obituary reads as follows:

Robin Jordan Prentice, 51, of Ventura died suddenly Monday, March 24, 2008. Robin was born July 11, 1956, in Santa Barbara and had been a resident of Ventura for 38 years, moving here from Santa Maria.
Robin was a program assistant for Student Performance and Program Evaluation and a homeless liaison assistant with the Ventura Unified School District. She was a member of the Ventura Community Church. Robin was a devoted wife, mother and daughter who enjoyed watching her kids play sports, walking her dog and working out. Robin enjoyed the outdoors and the beach and spent many happy times camping with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Jeff Prentice of Ventura; daughters, Shannon and Kelly; and son, Jordan all of Ventura; brother Dana Jordan of Newbury Park; brothers and sisters-in-law Brad and Pam Jordan of Newbury Park, and Scott and Sissy Jordan of Ventura; and mother, Gloria Jordan of Ventura.
Robin died just one day following her father, Leroy Jordan.
A memorial service for both Robin and her father will be held at 12 noon, Thursday, March 27, at The Ventura Missionary Church, 500 Highpoint Drive, Ventura with Pastors Carl Lodico and Matt Van Peursen of Ventura Community Church officiating. Flowers may be sent or memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 333 North Lantana Street, Suite 265, Camarillo, CA 93010.
