1. James A. Prentice may have been b. c. 1935-40 and at an unknown location and d. before 2006, perhaps in Alexandria, LA.

He m. Lily Marie Yarno. She was b. c. 1940 and d. 31 May 2006 in Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria, LA. Her obituary reads as follows:

    Services for Lily Marie Yarno Prentice will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, June 2, 2006 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria with Reverend Greg Texada officiating. Entombment will be in St. Mary Assumption Catholic Church Mausoleum, Cottonport, Mrs. Prentice, 66, of Alexandria died Wednesday, May 31, 2006 in Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. Mrs. Prentice was the founder and president of Lily of the Valley Ministries.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Prentice; parents, William Yarno, Sr. and Lillie Mae Rachal Yarno.

    Those left to cherish her memory include sons, Peter Y. Gauthier and wife, Mary of Plaquemine, Troy Gauthier and wife, Tammy of Hessmer; daughter, Julie Laborde and husband, Trent of Cottonport; brother, William Yarno, Jr. of Lafayette; grandchildren, Jacob, Aaron, Sarah Gauthier, Kenny Normand, Tiffany and April Gauthier and Mailee Bernard, Aimee and Angel Bourque and Destiny Laborde; great grandchildren, Kaden, Brayden, Madelyn and Gea.

    Friends may call Thursday at Hixson Brothers, Alexandria from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. until service time.
