1. George Prentice was b. 28 Apr 1820, Ipswich, Suffolk, England, and d. 28 Feb 1890 in Torres Strait, Queensland "Quetta." per Ancestry.com .

He m. apparently as her 3rd husband, Eleanor, b. c. 1811, Newcastle on Tyne. Her prior marriage were to a Mr. Parkin and Mr. Hickling. Children per 1841 and 1851 census:

  1. George Prentice, b. c. 1841, Durham County , son of George and Eleanor. He does not appear in the 1851 and later census.
  2. Elizabeth Ann Prentice, b. c. 1845, Woolwich, Kent, dau. of George and Eleanor.
