1. David Prentice was likely b. in the 1940s or 1950s.

    Obituary: Harry Succop, Whitmore Lake

    Harry F. Succop, 83, of Whitmore Lake died June 17, 2004, at Chelsea Retirement Community. He was born July 15, 1920, in Pittsburgh, Pa., the son of Martha (Schuster) and Ernest Succop.

    On July 15, 1944, he married Arlene Engle and spent the next 60 years as a devoted husband, father and family man.

    He is survived by Arlene and their three daughters, Judith (Greg) Krueger of Burbank Calif., Linda (David) Prentice and Patricia (Tim) Redmond, both of Dexter (PA?); 10 grandchildren, Jacob (Peg) Bolduc, Noah (Heidi) Bolduc, Jeannette (Michael) Gonzalez, John Prentice, Phillip Prentice, Michael Prentice, Nathan (Jodi) Redmond, Sara (Ryan) Snow, Joseph Redmond and Elizabeth Redmond; two great-granddaughters, Jordan and Emma Bolduc; and one sister, Lois (Frank) Maier of Tallahassee, Fla.

    Mr. Succop graduated from Valparaiso University in Indiana, served four years in the U.S. Army in World War II and retired from U.S. Steel Corp. after 30 years service as a financial analyst. He was an avid organic gardener and loved music. His wonderful sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to The Alzheimer?s Association, 225 W. Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL 60601 or to Bread for the World, 50 F. St. N.W. Suite 500, Washington, D.C. 20001.
