1. Murray Prentice was b. c. 1894 in AL. He appears in the 1930 census in Birmingham, Jefferson Co., AL with his wife, Louise, b. c. 1899, AL, and their daughter:

1. Marion Prentice, dau., b. c. 1922, AL.

Also living with them in 1930 was Murray's mother, Alice Prentice, b. c. 1871, TN. The 1930 census also indicates that Murray's father was b. in TN and a birth year guess may be about 1865-71. Murray Prentice's c. 1894 AL birth indicates that both of his parents had moved to AL at some date before 1894.

Murray Prentice may, or may not, be the Murray Prentice shown in the AL Death Index as dying Dec 1932 in Jefferson Co., AL.

Who are Murray Prentice's Parents?

There seems to be a good chance that Murray is the son of Henry Prentice, b. c. 1868, TN, and his wife, Alice, b. c. 1872, TN, who appear in the 1920 census, also in Birmingham, Jefferson Co., AL.
