1. Henry H. Prentiss was b. c. 1846 in North Carolina. He first appears in the 1880 census in Brooklyn, Kings Co., NY, and the later 1900 census in New York, Kings Co., NY with his wife, Frances, b. c. 1846 in NY. He does not appear in the 1920 census. Son:
- William C. Prentice, b. c. 1871, NY. At home in 1910. Not in 1920 or 1930 census
