We have not yet identified Harmon's father, but there seems to be a good chance that he is a son of Lymon/Lyman Prentice, b. c. 1770-80, who is also living in Lenox, Madison Co., NY in the 1830 census. Lyman is the son of Elkanah Prentice, a descendant of Robert Prentice.
