1. George Prentice was b. c. 1801 in Dalston, Suffolk, England which lies between Hackney, Islington and Shoreditch in central London. He appears in the 1851 Stepney, St. Annes, Limehouse, census as a Baker living at 59 Fore Street with his wife, Sarah, b. c. 1802, Holborn, London, and children:

  1. Emma Prentice, b. c. 1831, Bow, London.
  2. Pheobe Prentice, b. c. 1833, Bow, London.
  3. William Prentice, b. c. 1839, Hackney, London.

Who are George Prentice's Parents?

Although only conjecture for now, George Prentice might the same person as the George Prentice, son of John and Mary Prentice, shown in the IGI who was b. 23 Oct 1801 at an unspecified location and chr.
