Spring 2003 and Revised 6 Mar 2003
In reviewing birth and christening records provided to us by Kerry Prentice, we found the following:
1. William Prentice, probably b. c. 1720-30 and in, or near Bluntisham Cum Earith, Huntingdon, England. He m. Anne Crouch in Mar 1750, Bluntisham Cum Earith. Known children:
- Mathew Prentice, chr. 30 Dec 1751, Bluntisham Cum Earith. He m. Blanche Freeman on 10 Aug 1774, Bluntisham Cum Earith.
- John Prentice, chr. 18 Oct 1756, Bluntisham Cum Earith, Huntingdon, England
In addition we found the the marriage of Susannah Prentice to Stephen Feary on 19 Jan 1769, Bluntisham Cum Earith. One could infer that Susannah was b. c. 1745-1751 and probably in, or near, Bluntisham Cum Earith, and that she may be William's sister.
A search of the IGI does not disclose any Prentices in Bluntisham Cum Earith.
