William Prentice, b. c. 1640-60, appears in the IGI with his wife and family.
He m. Elizabeth. Known children:
- Thomas Prentice, chr. 30 Sep 1677, Caddington, Bedfordshire, England..
- Ann Prentice, chr. 22 Jun 1679, Caddington.
- John Prentice, chr. 20 Feb 1681, Caddington
- William Prentice, chr. 22 Jul 1683, Caddington.
- Elizabeth Prentice, chr. 26 Dec 1686, Caddington.
There is a possibility that William Prentice might be the William Prentis shown in the IGI as b. 2 Oct 1656 at Toddington, Bedfordshire. The mother's name was not given. Toddington lies only about 8 miles or so NNW of Caddington.
