Note: The scale of the maps is too small to show the following places:

1. Dalziel is the west part of Motherwell and on down towards Hamilton and the River Clyde. It probably will not appear on any modern map as it is the name of the parish, not the town. The name is still used in many other ways, though. The high school is Dalziel High, the iron works that was there was called Dalziel Iron Works, and the Presbyterian churches are still called Dalziel Parish Church and South Dalziel Parish Church.

2. Cambusnethan is the east part of Motherwell and on into Wishaw.
