John Prentiss of St. Leonards Shoreditch, England

Ian Prentice, by E-mail of 17 Sep 1998, directs our attention to Robert Prentiss, Esq. of St. Leonards Shoreditch, England.
His daughter, Elizabeth Prentiss, was born c. 1761 in Middlesex and married Robert Shirley, 7th. Earl Ferrers on 13 Mar 1778 at Shoreditch St. Leonards. She died on 14 Sep 1799 at Baker Street, Portman Square, London. Their only child was Robert Sewallis, Vicount Tamworth, born 9 Nov 1778 at St. Marylebone, London. He subsequently married Sophia Caroline Curer.
