1. Leslie Prentice was b. c. 1885 in CT, as were his parents. Census records:
- 1910 census in Enfield, Hartford Co., CT, as a Grocery Clerk with an unnamed wife.
- He appears in the 1930 census in East Windsor, Hartford Co., CT, with his wife and family. His occupation is shown as a lumber truck driver.
He m. Florence who was b. c. 1884, NY, with her father b. in CT and mother in NY. Children:
- George W. Prentice, b. c. 1912, CT. At home in 1930.

2. Leslie W. Prentice, b. c. 1913, CT, and d. 22 Mar 2009, Suffield House.. His Obituary of 24 Mar 2009 published in The Republican, reads as follows:
Leslie W. Prentice Jr.
Leslie W. Prentice Jr., East Windsor: Leslie W. Prentice Jr., 95, of East Windsor, husband of the late Ida (Swanson) Prentice, died Sunday March 22, 2009 at Suffield House.
Leslie was born in Windsor Locks and moved to Warehouse Point as a young child. He lived there for nearly ninety years most of that time in a house which he renovated as well as installing modern electrical service, plumbing and central heating. Leslie was one of the last living members of the Enfield High School Class of 1931. He was a member cross country and track teams and won the silver medal in the one-mile race in the State Championship held in New Haven in 1933.
Leslie was an active member of the Wesley United Methodist Church and served on the Board of Trustees for over fifty years. Leslie worked as a millwright at Bigelow and Sanford, and as an aircraft parts inspector in the experimental department of Hamilton Standard. He retired from Hamilton standard in 1975.
Leslie is survived by a son Leslie W. Prentice III and his wife Delight; two grandsons, Lee and his wife Judy and Eric and his wife Christine; a granddaughter Carolyn Bacon and her husband David; two great-granddaughters, Elizabeth and Margaret Prentice.
A funeral service will be held Thursday (March 26) at 11 a.m. at the Wesley United Methodist Church, East Windsor. Leslie will be interred with his wife in Springdale Cemetery where they met after participation in the Memorial Day Parade in 1933. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday evening (March 25) from 5-7 p.m. at the Bassinger & Dowd Funeral Home, 37 Gardner St. East Windsor. - Lee Prentice. He m. Judy.
- Eric Prentice, he m. Christine.
The obituary also mention a granddaughter Carolyn Bacon and her husband David; two great-granddaughters, Elizabeth and Margaret Prentice but is not clear from the obituary whether they are descendants of Lee or Eric Prentice.
Who are Leslie Prentice's Parents? So far we have found only negative information:
- He is not in the LDS IGI.
- No Prentice appears in the 1880 census for East Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.
- He is not in the 1900 census.
- Married in the 1910 census in Enfield, Hartford Co., CT, but no parent or sibling is shown in the household.
We do note that in 1910 Jessie was living in Enfield, Hartford Co., CT, and that also living in Enfield was Albert R. Prentice (b. c. 1860, CT) and his wife, Emma (b. c. 1857, CT) along with their children, Ethel and Pearl. However, according to our Winter 2002 article entitled Albert Prentice of Hartford, CT they are not shown with a son named Leslie.
