He m. Faye Janet. She was b. c. 1932 at an unknown location and d. 18 Feb 2007, Fairhope, AL. Her obituary of 23 Feb 2007 in The Mobile Register in Mobile, AL, reads as follows:
FAIRHOPE: Faye Janet Prentice
Faye Janet Prentice, 75, died Sunday, Feb. 18, 2007. She was a resident of Fairhope and a member of the Intercontinental Church of God in Tyler, Texas.
Survivors include her husband of more than 57 years, Leland T. Prentice of Fairhope; four sons, Robin Prentice and George Prentice, both of Foley, Stan Prentice of Orange Beach and Gary Prentice of Mount Enterprise, Texas; four brothers; two sisters; 12 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Cason Funeral Service in Foley.
