    He m. Mary L.,. She was b. c. 1872-1875, WI. She is buried in the Riverside Cemetery in Moorhead City, Clay Co., MN, with her husband wife and son, James.

    John and Mary had 1 or more children, including:

    1. James Prentice, b. c. 1902-1904, MN, and d. 21 May 1971 in Moorhead City. He is buried in the Riverside Cemetery in Moorhead City, Clay Co., MN, with his parents. At home in Moorhead, MN, in the 1920 census. He does not appear in the 1930 census.
