1. William Prentice was b. c, Nov 1797 in Havering, Essex Co., England, and d. before the 1871 census when his wife appears as a widow. Havering lies about 10-12 miles ESE of Chelmsford. William appears in the 1841 census living at Blake Cottages, Toothill Lane, in Stanford Rivers, Essex, as an Agricultural Labourer with his wife and family. Stanford Rivers lies about 10 miles north of Havering. (Ref: Ancestry.com )

She m. John Wilfred Sadler at The Strand per 1855 Vol. 16, pg. 604. He was b. ic. 1828, Leake, Yorkshire, and d. 1889 with his death registered in Woolwich, Kent, 1889, Vol. 1d, Pg. 760. He was the son of Elizabeth Sadler, who appears in the 1841 census as b. c. 1791, Leake, Yorkshire, a Tanner in the Leather Industry and living in the twp. of Guildale, near Bireforth (about 10 km south of Thirsk on the A19) in the registration of Northallerton, Yorkshire.
John appears in the 1851 census as an unmarried lodger at 4 Prince's St., St. Andrews Holborn, Middlesex. The 1861 census shows John W Sadler aged 33yrs a Licensed Victualler born in Leake, Yorkshire was living at 18 Clifton Road "The Clifton Arms", Marleybone, Middlesex, which was a public house. With him were his wife and children.
John Wilfred Sadler appears in the 1881 census as age 53yrs, a Widower and Licensed Victualler, living at 20 Plumstead Road, Kent with daughter Elizabeth 21 yrs born in \ St Pancras, Middlesex, son Wilfred 19 yrs born in Marleybone, son Walter 13 yrs born in \ Plumstead and daughter Alice 10 yrs born in Plumstead. Also shown is Frederick Austin 19 yrs a Servant and Coalman and Mary Cox 21 yrs a Cook and Domestic Servant

Although not shown in the IGI, he appears in the 1861 census in West Ham, Essex and in the 1871 Romford, Barking, St. Margarets census as a Labourer living at 4a Union St., Barking with his wife, Mary Ann, b. c. 1829, Barking. They later appear in the 1891 census in Barking, Essex. Son per 1871 census:
