    1. George C. Prentiss was b. May 1867 in MN. He does not appear in the 1870 or 1880 census.

    He m. Charlotte,b. Aug 1871, NE, and they appear in the 1900 census in Minneapolis Hennepin Co., MN, with a son:

    1. Madery(?) A. Prentiss, b. Jun 1895, MN. . . . . . . [2]

    2. Madery(?) A. Prentiss, b. Jun 1895, MN. It seems likely that he is the same person as Maddie Prentiss shown in the 1930 Bellerose, Nassau Co., NY census as b. c 1895-96, MN. Also shown is his wife, Myrtle, b. c. 1897,IL, and children:

    1. George(?) Prentiss, b. c. 1922, NY.
    2. Maddie Prentiss, b. c. 1925, NY

    Who are George C. Prentiss' Parents?

    The only clue we have so far is that the 1900 census says George's father was b. in MN and his mother was b. in English Canada. Investigation continues.
