At some date between Mar and Dec 1880 they emigrated to America (per 1920 census) and settled in New York City, NY where they appear in the 1900 and 1920 census.     Who are George Prentice's Parents?

    Although only conjecture for now, we note from Glasgow christening records that John Prentice and Violet Wilson had children christened in Hamilton, Lanarkshire, from at least 1806 to 1811 . George, said to have been christened in 1809 in Hamilton, does not appear in those records, but perhaps he was missed.
