    1. George Prentice was b. c. 1822 in Oundle, Northamptonshire, England. He is not in the IGI but does appear in the 1851 census of Stepney, Limehouse, as a Bootmaker living at 3 Wrights Buildings with his wife, Agnes, b. c. 1828, Brixton, Surrey, and children:
    1. Sarah Prentice, b. c. 1845, Newington, Surrey.
    2. Robert Prentice, b. c. 1848, Shoreditch, London.
    3. Alice Prentice, b. c. 1850, Limehouse, London.
    He is probably the same George Prentice who appears in the 1881 census living at 82 Salmons Lane, London, without a wife but with daughters:
    1. Helena Prentice, b. c. 1867, Limehouse, Middlesex.
    2. Elizabeth Prentice, b. c. 1869, Limehouse, Middlesex.
