    1. Erin Prentice was b. c. 1827, Canada (per 1852 census) He appears as "Aaron Prentice" in the 1852 census in Vaughan Twp., York, Canada West (Ontario) as a Farmer, Methodist.

    He later appears in the 1881 Vaughan, York West, Ontario, Canada census as a Primative Methodist Farmer of German origin with his wife and family.

    He m. Margaret, b. c. 1827, Canada and called of Irish origin, and children:

    1. Mary Prentice, b. c. 1850, Ontario. At home in 1852.
    2. Sarah Prentice, b. c. 1848, Ontario. At home in 1852.
    3. Alexander Prentice, b. c. 1856, Ontario.
    4. Thomas Prentice, b. c. 1858, Ontario.
    5. Emma Prentice, b. c. 1864, Ontario.
    6. George Prentice, b. c. 1868, Ontario.
    7. John Prentice, b. c. 1870, Ontario.
    8. Maude Prentice, b. c. 1873, Ontario.
