• I have Anna Mary Prentis born 29 December 1808 at Cooperstown, NY who married George Hesler and died 7 Nov 1892 at Wooster, Ohio. These dates are confirmed by Anna's obituary written by her son Charles Hesler and Charles Civil War history where it states Anna's maiden name. i believe she is the daughter of Samuel Prentiss who died 1815 in Cooperstown and Millicent Judd. Can anyone help to confirm Anna's parents? In the Prentice history, I see a reference to Anna Maria Prentiss born after 1793 and died after 1820 in Cooperstown as a possible child of Samuel Prentiss and Millicent Judd. In 1820, she referenced as a servant to Elnathan Judd, likely her uncle.
