58. William Riley PRENTICE was born on Feb 14 1854 in Blount County, Alabama. He died between 1894 and 1898 in Hardin County, Tennessee. Loeta Mae Mills reports that her grandfather, Edney didn't know his father
very well, nor the two sons. It seem strange that Riley and the two boys
are gone with no records as to where they are or where they may have died.
With gaps int the births of Mattie and Clarence, Riley must have been gone
a lot. My Grandfather said that his father, Riley, died when he, Ed, was
about 15, this would put Riley as dying about 1894.
Merged General Note:

He was married to Mary Elizabeth HARTGROVE on Mar 15 1872 in Giles County, Tennessee. Mary Elizabeth HARTGROVE was born about 1853 in Tennessee. She died before 1882 in Hardin County, Tennessee. William Riley PRENTICE and Mary Elizabeth HARTGROVE had the following children:

112 i. William N. PRENTICE was born about 1875 in Hardin County, Tennessee.

114 iii. James M. PRENTICE was born about 1877 in Hardin County, Tennessee.
+115 iv. Edney L. PRENTICE.

He was married to Mary FRANKS on Dec 25 1882 in Hardin County, Tennessee. Mary FRANKS was born about Sep 1862 in Tennessee. Mary and Will were living in Wayne County, Tennesse in 1990.

Mary and Will were living in Wayne County, Tennesse in 1990. William Riley PRENTICE and Mary FRANKS had the following children:

117 ii. Unknown PRENTICE was born about 1890. He (or she) died before 1894.
